QB takes summer tour

Nate Ketteringham went on an extensive tour of colleges this summer and the 2015 quarterback said he made some valuable trips even if offers have not come in yet.
The San Diego (Calif.) Westview recruit who looked good last weekend at the Rivals250 Underclassmen Challenge in Texas said he hopes to have a big junior season, put up nice numbers, and then see which programs like him most.

There is a variety of schools showing interest - mainly from the Midwest and East Coast - so Ketteringham is excited about the future.
"I went on a big tour on the East Coast," Ketteringham said. "I started at Duke and then we drove down to Georgia, up to Indiana, over to Northwestern and then over to Virginia.
"I felt like it was valuable. I got a lot of good exposure."
The 2015 prospect stayed away from naming any favorites, maybe because he doesn't have any offers yet or maybe because it's still very early in his recruitment.
"Any school that's interested in me I'm interested in them," he said.
A bunch of programs from far away are showing interest but the San Diego Westview quarterback said interest from schools closer to home, namely Pac-12 teams, has been scattered.
Since he had a busy summer and is looking forward to a big junior campaign, Ketteringham wants to take his time and see what happens after this season. Then he might be prepared to name some frontrunners.
"I'm going to take it slow," Ketteringham said. "I want to have a good season this year, hopefully put up big numbers, and then see which schools are showing the most interest."
