QB Sticks With Family

Tallahassee (Fla.) Leon quarterback Wyatt Sexton made the move that most predicted for months.
"I committed to Florida State on Sunday when coach Bowden was in my house for a visit," said the 6-foot-3, 195-pound signal-caller. "I guess you could say growing up around FSU and all the players had alot to do with it."

Sexton's father is a long-time assistant coach on the Florida State staff and familiarity was the biggest key to his decision.
"I wanted to look at other schools to make sure, but in the end knowing that I'd be playing for coach Bowden and my dad was too much to pass on," he said. "And all the great players in the past at Florida State, being a part of continuing that tradition will be an honor."
Sexton chose Florida State over North Carolina, NC State, Illinois and Auburn.
