Jordan Steffy has impressed college coaches all over the nation for the past year at quarterback. He has nearly unlimited potential and that's why offers have been pouring in.
"I have offers to Pittsburgh, Maryland, Purdue, Virginia, Syracuse, Wisconsin, UConn, Indiana, Iowa, Duke, Clemson and many others from the region and around the country," said Steffy. "All in all I have about 20 right now. I've heard from several people that I should be a top ten quarterback prospect this year."
Steffy is a 6-foot-2, 210-pound quarterback from Leola (Pa.) Conestoga Valley and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.51 seconds.
"My favorites are UCLA, Virginia Tech, Maryland, Iowa, Syracuse and Indiana," said Steffy. "None of those stick out above the others, but that could change this summer. I like the area UCLA is in and I think their new staff will have them succeed.
"I like Virginia Tech, Maryland and Syracuse because they run the option and have dual-threat quarterbacks. I like the offenses at Iowa and Indiana as well."
From June 17th until the 25th Steffy will tour the east coast, visiting schools such as Maryland, Virginia Tech and others before taking trips to Indiana, Purdue, Michigan State and Michigan.
"This summer I really plan on working on the mental part of the game," he said. "My footwork will be an area of focus too. Just fundamental things like where I hold the ball during my drops. My squat is up to 515 pounds and I recently ran the 40-yard dash in 4.47 seconds at the Nike camp."
As a junior, Steffy threw for 2,178 yards and 21 touchdowns.
