QB returns from first official visit

Audubon, N.J. quarterback Joe Flacco is back from his official visit to Pitt and is apparently down to two teams.
"He had a good time out there," said the 6-foot-5, 200-pounder's mother. "He's out shopping for a suit right now for a banquet he has coming up, but my husband and I went on the trip. It was nice."

Flacco, who has close to 10 offers, liked the facilities and was especially impressed with Heinz Field.
"It's nice, he liked it a lot," she said. "It was funny because the owner of the Steelers was there so we got to meet him as well."
Flacco trips to Rutgers next weekend (Dec. 13) and then has a tough decision to make. If he can't make it, Central Florida awaits on Jan. 10.
"I think it's down to Pitt and Rutgers," his mother said. "It's a tough choice between staying at home and possibly playing very early or going away to school and playing for a team that will be in a bowl game this year. But Pitt has Tyler Palko there so playing time is a question. It's not easy and I hope he can make the decision soon."
Joe threw for 1,331 yards and eight touchdowns this season.
