QB Returns From Clemson

Clemson already received a commitment from one Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln player this weekend, so did they make it two with quarterback Gavin Dickey?
"Did Buddy commit?" said Dickey about his teammate and friend Larry "Buddy" Williams who committed to Clemson on his visit this weekend. "I left before he did and I didn't know he was going to. Good for him."

Dickey was impressed with Clemson and the way he'd fit in the offense, but his heart still belongs to another at this time.
"Florida is still my leader," said the 6-foot, 190-pounder. "I felt good about Clemson and liked everyone there, but that Florida offense is what I really like the best."
Dickey hasn't talked with any of the new coaches at Florida but he likes the fact that ex-Marshall offensive coordinator Ed Zaunbrecher will have the same duties at Florida.
"That means they'll still throw the ball a ton," he said. "I like that."
Dickey visits Miami on Jan. 18 and finishes with Southern Cal on Jan. 25.
"I'm still considering Clemson and the other two I'll be visiting," he said. "I want to see everything before I decide and I might not even fit in the plans of the new Florida coaches. I need to keep my options open."
