QB Olsen Takes Visit

Wayne Hills, N.J. quarterback Chris Olsen has to keep his options open.

“We went down to NC State this weekend,” said Olsen’s father and coach at Wayne Hills, Chris Sr. “It was really nice. We talked about how he’d fit in the offense and they’re a team on the rise. Notre Dame has hired George O’Leary so we’ll have to see where Chris fits in their plans, but NC State is a nice option.”

Olsen will take a mid-week official visit to Iowa starting this Tuesday and may also visit Illinois and Oregon as well.

“Most of it depends on what offense Notre Dame will be using,” he said. “Chris wants Notre Dame but only if he’s involved with their plans. If they go to something like a full-blown option, then we’ll have to figure something else out.”
