Loukas talked about his unofficial visit to Iowa State. He came away impressed with the Cyclones.
"I was basically the only player there last Monday, so I had a really good chance to talk with the coaches at Iowa State. I was able to get a tour of the Business program, and I also was given tours of the facilities and the campus at Iowa State. The campus at Iowa State was really nice, I liked the campus quite a bit. I was also impressed with the indoor facility and the overall facilities in general at Iowa State. I also just got along really well with all of the coaches at Iowa State, they were all really friendly and they seemed genuine and excited about recruiting me. I also had a chance to watch the players working out and conditioning and that was cool."
Loukas also had plenty of good things to say about the latest Rivals.com Junior day event.
I really got a lot from the speech from Coach (Joe) Hornback. He has some great knowledge about the recruiting process, yet he also made it fun and entertaining. I also enjoyed just getting to know a lot of the other prospects, and I was able to meet several kids that I've been hearing about at the event. I really appreciated the entire event and I also learned a lot and enjoyed the whole day."
Loukas has continued to receive mail from several schools this winter, and Loukas also has a few new suitors.
"I've been getting mail and tape request recently from Michigan State, Stanford and Tennessee."
