QB looking coast to coast

San Antonio (Texas) Reagan quarterback Chad Vacek is being contacted by schools from coast to coast.
"I've gotten stuff or calls from Miami, Florida State, Texas, Boston College, Syracuse, Colorado, TCU, Rice, SMU and UCLA," Vacek said. "It's been a little hectic with everything that is going on."

He threw for 1,818 yards and ran for nearly 500 as a sophomore. The 6-foot-3, 195-pounder caught the eye of recruiters with those numbers, but drew the attention with his junior season performance.
"I don't have the exact numbers, but I did top my sophomore numbers and was named all-district quarterback."
While the list of schools recruiting Vacek is long, he has narrowed the focus some.
"I would say Colorado is recruiting me the hardest," Vacek said. "I get something from them every few days. I've also been visited at school by coaches from TCU, Arizona State and Texas Tech."
Vacek has several things he will consider when choosing a school.
"I want to get a good education. I want to look at the opportunity to get on the field. What does the current situation look like at quarterback at the school? I also want to feel comfortable with the coaching staff and the players."
