QB Kelly checking out colleges

It has been a couple of months since quarterback Chad Kelly jumped onto the recruiting radar and began his meteoric rise up the boards of several big-time programs.
With a dozen verbal offers, Kelly now has a good number of options.

The next step is to get back out on the road and visit as many schools as possible.
The 6-foot-3, 205-pound quarterback from Buffalo (N.Y.) St. Joseph's visited Florida State a while back. The Seminoles had given Kelly his first major verbal offer a while back and that was a trip he was excited about.
How did it turn out?
"It was real good," he said of his trip to Florida State. "I really liked it. I'd say it was about what I thought it would be like. I really liked the coaching staff and everything else."
Coaches from a lot of schools have visited St. Joseph's recently to express their interest and talk to Kelly's staff.
Today and on Saturday, Kelly will be at Michigan State. On Sunday he will be at Purdue and on Monday he will visit Michigan.
When will he start to narrow his list?
"Probably right after my trip to Alabama the second weekend in June," he concluded.
