QB Johnson gets closer to a decision

Philadelphia (Pa.) Roman Catholic quarterback Chris Johnson took one official visit this fall. The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder plans to take a second one in early January before making a decision.
"Nothing really is going on right now," he said. "I'm planning to visit Buffalo in the first couple weeks of January and then I'll probably commit there right after the visit."

The two-star prospect is heavily favoring Buffalo. What does he like about the school?
"They've got two coaches I like, Coach Gill and Coach Garrett," he said. "I like the fact Coach Gill works with the quarterbacks. He knows what he's doing.
"They are also showing me the most love right now. That is a big reason they are on top of my list. Plus, there's a chance to play after my freshman season."
Johnson continues to hear from other schools including Boston College, JMU and Villanova.
The Keystone State quarterback threw for 1,380-yards and accounted for 22 total touchdowns compared to eight interceptions. He added three interceptions on defense.
