QB Henderson plans visits, camps

Raleigh (N.C.) Southeast Raleigh quarterback Gabriel Henderson has one official scholarship. The 6-foot-0, 182-pounder plans to take at least one visit in the near future in hopes of pulling another.
"I'm going up to Virginia on May 1st with Kendall Moore," he said. "That hopefully will be my next official offer.

"I still have an offer from Kent State."
Henderson is considering other visits as well.
"Kendall and I are deciding on possible visits coming up to North Carolina, Wake Forest, NC State, Duke or East Carolina."
Currently two schools stick out in the early going for the Carolina prospect.
"As or right now Virginia and Virginia Tech are two schools at the top of my list," he said. "Virginia Tech is saying they really want me. They have a nice football based school. I like that both schools took a more personal approach with me.
"As for Virginia, they have come down to my school numerous times and they were straight up with me about everything. I really look forward to visiting in a couple of weeks."
One other school picking up in interest for Henderson is Oregon.
With summer approaching, does Henderson have any camps planned?
"I'm close to it. I know Virginia Tech and Wake Forest for sure," he said. "I have about 10 others I want to go to, but I'm going to narrow it down to five soon. Most of the visits will be in June. I'm also planning to go to an East Carolina 7-on-7 this summer too, so that's another school I'll visit."
