QB has great official visit to Michigan

"I just got back," quarterback Clayton Richard said when asked about his official visit to Michigan. "It was great."
"I was impressed with the atmosphere. I liked how the players got along together."
"Jeremy Van Alstyne was my host."
"Purdue, Illinois, Colorado, UCLA, those are some of the other schools off the top of my head. But I haven't ruled anyone out."
"I'm not really sure when I'll decide."
The 6-foot-5 and 225 pounder from Lafayette (Ind.) McCutcheon passed for 2920 yards and 27 touchdowns during his senior season. He completed 58% of his passes.
Richard said his preferred plan is to sign a professional baseball contract and play college football. Richard is a lefthand pitcher with a 90 mph fastball.
