QB Foster leads team to championship

Plainfield (Ind.) Cascade quarterback Kyle Foster is putting the finishing touches on a fine high school career by leading his team to a conference championship over the weekend.
Foster completed 121 of 183 passes (66%) for 1874 yards and 21 touchdowns as Cascade finished the regular season with an 8-1 record. The very accurate and poised Foster was intercepted just four times and also rushed for four touchdowns.

While his senior season is not yet over, his team is headed for the playoffs, recruiting is also on the front burner for the 6-foot-4 and 199-pound Foster.
"I went to the Purdue-Northwestern game," Foster said. "Northwestern won, but it was still fun.
"They brought us in and gave us a tour of the facilities. We had lunch and they took us down on the field for warmups. Then we watched the game.
"I'm interested in Louisville, Purdue, Ball State, Wyoming, Northern Illinois, and Western Michigan. Every week pretty much all of them call.
