QB Farley looking west

The state of New Jersey has some good-looking quarterback prospects in the Class of 2010 and Wayne (N.J.) DePaul Catholic junior Dan Farley is one of them.
Farley has not received the national attention that some of the other quarterback prospects from the region have but the 6-foot-2, 210-pound passer has the attention of several college coaches.

As a junior at DePaul Catholic, Farley passed for more than 1,000 yards with 16 touchdowns through the air and eight on the ground.
"I've been getting a lot of interest from a bunch of schools lately. I'll be attending a lot of camps come June, so I can throw in front of coaches at colleges.
"Some of my top choices right now are Cal, Tennessee, Boston College, Duke and then a couple others like Michigan State, Purdue and Vanderbilt.
"I like the offenses those schools run. The offenses are similar to the stuff we do at DePaul. Of course, I like the location of each of the schools, too."
Farley is not one of those prospects that is against the idea of attending school a long way from home.
"My top choice is California," he said. "I would love to play in the Pac Ten. It's still early, though, and my options are wide open."
Farley said he has received mail from Iowa, Iowa State, Boston College, Arkansas, Michigan State, LSU, Notre Dame, Vanderbilt, NC State, Maryland and Tennessee, among others.
