QB eager for January
Longview, Texas quarterback Joel Armstrong took his first visit in December, now he's looking forward to the coming weeks.
"I had a good time on my first visit when I went to TCU," the 6-foot, 170-pound Armnstrong said. "I now have something to compare the upcoming trips to."

Those upcoming visits include a Jan. 10 trip to SMU and a Jan. 17 trip to Rice.
"All of these schools have been recruiting me all along. They were all patient with me as our season kept going along and I kept putting them off so I could focus on my season.
"I'm pretty sure I will be going to one of these three schools. I want to find what is the best place for me to go and that's where I'm headed."
