QB Doyle discusses recent visits

West Roxbury (Mass.) Catholic Memorial quarterback A.J. Doyle visited a couple of schools in the ACC recently and both of those trips seems to have gone well.
The 6-foot-3, 226-pound quarterback was at NC State and Maryland in the past week and those schools seemed to do a good job of putting their best foot forward.

Doyle said he got along with the coaching staff at NC State extremely well. He was impressed with their organization and how they worked with the quarterbacks. Doyle also liked the school itself.
"I went to Maryland, too," he added. "I was supposed to go down Friday afternoon on my way down (to NC State) but with traffic I decided to go later.
"Maryland was beautiful, too. I liked it a lot. We got a tour abound 9 o'clock Sunday morning. The member of the staff that gave us the tour was very knowledgeable, not only of their present history but also of their past history. Having a guy like that give me the tour really opened my eyes."
Doyle's lone offer is still from UMass though he believes he's getting closer to others.
He's not done taking visits and should contine to be busy this spring.
"I know I'm going over to BC because they're highly interested in me," Doyle said. "I like them a lot as well.
"I know I've been getting some stuff from Georgia. I was planning on going down to an Elite 11 camp there and when I'm there I'll check them out, too."
