QB back from Arizona junior day

Nate Ketteringham drove out to Arizona for its junior day this past weekend and although it was a long trip it was well worth it.
The San Diego (Calif.) Westview three-star prospect did not receive an offer but said he was thoroughly impressed by the campus and the coaches and wants to stay in contact with the Wildcats.

"We started out with lunch and the coaches came around and talked to everybody, got familiar with everybody and then they took us on a tour of the campus," Ketteringham said. "The campus is really amazing. It's not as big as a bunch of other campuses but it has a lot of cool features to it.
"Then they took us on a tour of the facilities. They're really nice and the weight room is really nice and they have underwater treadmills which were really cool. We had a meeting with our position coaches and they got to know us pretty well so it was overall a good day."
Ketteringham, who looked good at the recent Steve Clarkson quarterback camp, is still waiting on his first offer.
The three-star said he received positive news from the Arizona coaching staff but he wasn't offered during the trip.
"They said they wanted to do an evaluation later on possibly like in a camp scenario and then they would go from there," Ketteringham said.
"It's the kind of offense I fit into so I think it would be a good fit."
Many other programs are showing interest in the San Diego Westview standout. He's planning an unofficial visit to Washington State soon with Corona (Calif.) Centennial receiver Greyson Bankhead, who also joined Ketteringham on the Arizona trip.
