When did you start playing football and who influenced you the most?
Iaqw3yzuguup6y4myt02
I started playing football in second grade. I think my dad is the one who influenced me the most. He played at a high level of football in college. He put a football in my hands at an early age and has coached me for years.

I hope to narrow down my school choices during my football season so I can schedule the rest of my official visits.

You play quarterback in high school but some feel you'd be a better receiver or safety in college. Which do you prefer and what strengths do you bring to the table at that position?
Iaqw3yzuguup6y4myt02
I want to play quarterback in college. The strengths I posses are my decision-making abilities, reading defensive coverage and my athletic ability to escape pressure.

What are you looking for in a school and football program to help you make a decision?
Iaqw3yzuguup6y4myt02
The first attribute I look for in a university is their education and academic support. I want to major in business/sports management. I also look at the coaching staff's experience. I want to be coached up at the quarterback position, so the quarterback coach's knowledge as well as teaching techniques are important. I also value the players that are on the current roster and the facilities at the university.

When did you start to realize how good you actually were and that you would be a high-level recruit with all these offers?
Iaqw3yzuguup6y4myt02
It was after my second game of my junior season. I had several recruiters attend the game. With the help of my teammates, I was able to run for 331 yards and score six touchdowns and throw for 247 yards and for another score. I also had one interception on defense. After that game, recruiting really picked up.

How many hours a week do you train during the season and does it differ from the off-season? What are your favorite ways to work out?
Iaqw3yzuguup6y4myt02
Off-season training and in-season training are really different. In-season, I train two days a week and I focus on flexibility and maintaining/reinforcing my core and muscle mass. Off-season is more conditioning, weight training for improved strength and many more passing drills.

How have your sports nutrition habits changed from year to year as you start to compete at a more intense level?
Iaqw3yzuguup6y4myt02
My nutrition has changed over the years. I really focus on my fat/sugar intake and I drink lots of water. I take it a lot more seriously than I used to, especially since I got into high school. It's something I think of every day.

Will you tell us about some of the pre- and post-game meals, rituals and celebrations that help you get physically and mentally ready to prime, perform and recover?
Iaqw3yzuguup6y4myt02
Since I have been in high school, pre-game meals are really special to me. The entire team eats together and we have pasta, salads and chicken. I always listen to music before a game, this gets me in the right state of mind to perform.

What is the best part of the recruiting process and why? What is the worst part of the recruiting process and why?
Iaqw3yzuguup6y4myt02
The best part of recruiting is the relationships that you build with the coaches and all of the recruiting websites. Life is about relationships so I feel it will help me down the line as I get into college and business. There is not a bad aspect of recruiting. The calls that I receive are a numerous, but I feel very fortunate to be in the position of being recruited. There are many student-athletes that want to be recruited and are not, so I realize the position I am in and honor the process.

When do you plan on making your college decision and how important of a decision is it for you?
Iaqw3yzuguup6y4myt02
I want to take my five official visits and decide after I take my final trip. The interaction on campus is very important to me. It will tell me a lot about the team, coaches, academics and the atmosphere.
