Q A with A.Q. Shipley

Defensive lineman A.Q. Shipley , who committed to Penn State in mid-June, answers a number of questions.
Why did you select Penn State?
"Everytime I went there I felt comfortable with the players. Compared with the other schools, I just liked Penn State best."
What school was your second choice?
"Penn State, Michigan, and Virginia were my final three. They all offered me a scholarship."
Approximately how many scholarship offers did you have?
"I finished with 41 offers."
Who are some of the other schools that offered you a scholarship.
"Pitt, North Carolina State, Ohio State, Michigan State, and there were others."
The 6-foot-2 and 275 pound Shipley, from Coraopolis (Pa.) Moon, is the number ten defensive tackle prospest and has a four star rating.
Shipley made 70 tackles including six sacks during his junior season. He has been a varsity starter on both sides of the ball since his freshman year.
