"I like the school and the facilities. It's close to home and it's a good fit for me."
What school was your second choice?
"Ohio State and Penn State. Those two. But they didn't offer me."
Have you thought about a timetable for playing?
"I hope I get to play my freshman year. I hope I don't redshirt."
You play both strong safety and quarterback. What position will you play in college?
"It doesn't matter to me, but I think it will be defensive back. But I can't forget about quarterback."
The 6-foot-2 and 200 pound Ivy, from Monroeville (Pa.) Gateway, made 55 tackles and intercepted two passes during his junior season. Ivy completed 58 of 132 passes for 815 yards. He also rushed for 654 yards.
