Gainesville, Texas, three-star running back Terrius Purvey has been taking his time with the recruiting process, but he’s finally put his foot on the gas and began to line up some official visits.
“I had a bunch of things that I had to take care of off the field,” Purvey, who is 5-foot-10, 177-pounds, said. “We were also in the playoffs, and I was focused on that. But I’ve worked hard and now I’m at a point where recruiting is back on my plate.”
So what’s on tap?
“I’ve got three visits set,” Purvey said. “I’m going to Oklahoma State on January 14, January 21 I have Texas Tech set up and then on January 28, I’m going to Texas A&M.”
In his last update, Purvey said Texas A&M and Oklahoma State were his top two teams, and it doesn’t appear that much has changed since then.
“It’s pretty much those two now, I think,” he said. “But I guess I’ll decide after my visits to each school. Coach Thurmond is coming by the house this week from A&M, and the coaches from Tech and OSU have already been by the school.”
