Purvey has one team at the top

Gainesville, Texas running back Terrius Purvey knows one school he will visit.
“I haven’t set up any visits yet,” the 5-foot-10, 177-pound Purvey said. “I talked to Texas A&M and it depends on how my season goes. If it keeps going, we’ll visit in January. If we get out, we’ll set a date in Decmber.

“I would say that Texas A&M is my top school right now. They are followed close by
Oklahoma State. I also am looking at Texas Tech and Oklahoma. All of them have offered me a scholarship.”
Purvey has been to College Station, Texas, before, but is looking forward to his trip.
“Texas A&M has good facilities and fans,” he said. “They are doing really pretty good this year. I think I could help them out quickly. And Oklahoma State is doing real well this year. I want to play for a winning team. That is a big thing for me.”
Purvey has helped lead Gainesville into the post season.
“If I like what I see, I could commit on a visit, but I want to see how things are in person.
We’re alive and in the playoffs. I don’t know my numbers. I think I am doing good, though.”
