Junior inside linebacker Delvin Purifoy will be in Tallahassee this weekend on an unofficial visit for the Florida State-Florida game.
His cousin Loucheiz Purifoy will be lining up in the Gators secondary during the contest and Delvin will be standing on the FSU sideline.
When asked if it's strange to be on the Seminole sideline with Loucheiz playing for Florida?
He replied, "Well, I'm interested in seeing both. I grew up a Florida State fan. FSU is probably standing out the most."
The Rivals 250 Watch List member already holds early offers from FSU, South Alabama, USF, and Tennessee. He has visited Alabama unofficially when the Tide beat Western Kentucky.
This figures to be a busy weekend for the speedy 'backer. On Friday night, his team faces a tough road match up with Madison County (Fla.) in the regional final round of the playoffs.
Purifoy clocked a 4.70 40 (laser timed) at the Mobile Nike Football SPARQ Combine last spring which helped get his name on the map throughout the southeast.
He has plans to visit Clemson over the summer. Look for the 6-foot-2, 212-pound defender to camp at FSU, Florida, and USF.
Once the season is over he figures to have double-digit offers as he continues to impress following his successful sophomore campaign.
