Purdue team to beat for RB

Arcadia (Fla.) DeSoto three-star running back Chris Clemons was scheduled to visit Michigan State this weekend, but the 6-foot-1, 180-pounder didn’t make it to East Lansing. And he might never.
“Things just didn’t work out,” Clemons said. “They’re still recruiting me, but we didn’t get the visit schedule the right way and I couldn’t make it. I probably am only going to take two more trips before I decide.”

Despite getting attention from Florida, Miami, Michigan State, Pittsburgh and South Carolina, Clemons said he’s going to visit Clemson on January 9 and then probably check out Georgia after that. Those two, along with Purdue, will be his final three teams.
“Purdue (Dec. 5) is still my leader,” he said. “I like them a lot, and Clemson and Georgia will have to show me a lot.”
