Purdue or Duke for Texan

San Antonio (Texas) Alamo Heights two star athlete Patrick Bailey has taken three visits in the last three weekends, but the good news is that he’s finally able to narrow things down after a visit to Purdue this weekend.
“I’m pretty worn out,” Bailey, who is 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds, said. “Right now, personally it’s going to be Duke or Purdue. I’m going to talk to my parents a little tomorrow and later on this week and hopefully have a decision by Wednesday. I want to make sure that I’m making the best decision for myself. That’s where I’m at now.”

Bailey did really enjoy his visit to Purdue. He was hosted by San Antonio native Kyle Ingraham.
“He played as a true freshman,” Bailey said. “It was kind of weird hanging out with him since he’s 6-9. I thought I was tall at 6-4, but he was tall and that was kind of weird to be around. But I mean that in a good way.”
Bailey said both Purdue and Duke have their advantages.
“Purdue has a great tradition of playing in bowl games, plus my coaches know the Purdue coaches really well,” Bailey said. “Duke has some great academics and they’re enthusiastic about their new coach. They were energized for next year already.”
