"I liked how their defense is open. And they play aggressive football. And they're not afraid to play guys early."

"The academics have always been good at Purdue. I'd have to say I liked my Purdue visit a little better than my Boston College visit."
"Both schools will play guys early, but Purdue is closer to home. I'd have to say Purdue is the leader at the moment."
Garrett, 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds, has made official visits to Purdue and Boston College.
"I have Illinois November 30th and Penn State December 7th," he continued. "My other visit is up in the air between Notre Dame, Arizona, and USC."
Garrett, from Romeoville (Ill.) made 89 tackles this season including 18 sacks.
