Purdue lands Ohio star
"I committed to Purdue," defensive end Ray Edwards said late on the night of January 1. "It's just the place I felt most comfortable."
"I'm all done with my visits. I picked Purdue."
The 6-foot-6 and 235 pounder from Cincinnati (Ohio) Woodward made official visits to Purdue, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Boston College, and all four schools offered a scholarship. Edwards made 90 tackles including 11 sacks during his senior season.
