Pulsipher picks up first offer

Adam Pulsipher is on the board with his first offer and now the Temecula (Calif.) Temecula Valley inside linebacker hopes more are on the way.
Pulsipher, a 6-foot-1, 210-pound prospect, recently got offered by Buffalo and said he'd like to know more about the program and possibly take a visit before his senior season gets underway.

"I got my film out to a bunch of schools at the beginning of this year and it kind of came out of the blue," Pulsipher said. "I had received some mail from them but nothing noteworthy.
"I e-mailed their coach, coach (Ernest) Jones, and he said yes they had offered and I called and I was pumped and excited. … Everyone says that once you get the first one they start coming faster so that's what I'm hoping for."
Pulsipher said he doesn't know too much about Buffalo's football program but that he's looking to learn. The recruiting process is nothing new to Pulsipher, whose two brothers play college football. Austin is at Yale and Andrew took a grayshirt at BYU last season.
"It was definitely a relief knowing that a school wants me that bad," Pulsipher said. "I knew Turner Gill, their old coach, and I looked up some stuff but I definitely want to learn a lot more and hopefully make a trip out there to see what it's all about."
Alabama, Arizona, BYU, Boise State, Nebraska, Washington, Vanderbilt, Northwestern and Stanford are some of the schools that send mail to Pulsipher, who attended Southern Cal's recent junior day. He was blown away by the Trojans' new coaches and will be back for some spring practices.
"I talked to all the coaches and I was definitely impressed with their new staff," Pulsipher said. "High-energy guys with coach (Ed) Orgeron and coach (Joe) Barry, their linebackers coach. He was a defensive coordinator in the NFL so you can't go wrong with that.
"Coach Monte Kiffin is a defensive genius. How much knowledge, experience and energy they had was unbelievable."
Washington State had a junior day last month but Pulsipher could not make the trip. He plans to visit BYU and possibly Vanderbilt and Iowa State this spring.
Next up for Pulsipher are plans to see some spring practices at Southern Cal and UCLA during his spring break week - and hopefully pick up a few more offers.
