Pugh talks about WVU

Safety Charles Pugh went north to visit West Virginia over the weekend and he had a good time. Are the Mountaineers any closer to landing the Florida defensive back?

"West Virginia was a real nice place," said Pugh. "It was a lot better than I expected it to be, honestly. I went out with the players, saw all the facilities and saw everything I needed to see around the campus.

"I'm very interested in West Virginia right now. They run the same type of defense my high school runs, so that's good. I feel like I could play about five different positions with the system they like to run. Most teams run a 4-3 these days but they use the 3-3-5 a lot. I think I'd fit in well with that.

What other schools is Pugh looking at?

"It's pretty much between them and NC State right now, and I'm torn. I haven't made a decision yet. I'll probably wait until Signing Day to announce something."
