PSU, VT, UVA, & UMD making waves with future star Chris Tyree

Running back Chris Tyree is only a sophomore but he already has more than ten scholarship offers. The Chester (Va.) Thomas Dale star has taken visits to Virginia, Penn State, and Virginia Tech this season but is planning one to Maryland.

Here are some of the highlights from the video interview posted above:

Virginia- Tyree really likes what the coaching staff is doing and thinks the Cavs could be a bigger contender in the next couple years.

Virginia Tech- He's had a really good relationship with the coaching staff ever since they were his first offer after their camp a few years ago. "When you're in Chester, Virginia, everybody loves Virginia Tech."

Penn State- Tyree loved the night game atmosphere in Happy Valley.

Maryland- He likes that the program is becoming more successful.

Florida State- The Seminoles offered this offseason but he isn't sure when he will visit. Former Thomas Dale star Darvin Taylor plays for Florida State.

Georgia- Tyree's head coach has spoken to the Georgia staff about scheduling a visit.

Notre Dame is in the early stages of showing interest in Tyree.

Tyree's best coaching relationships are with coach Huff and coach Franklin at Penn State, coach Fuente and coach Burden at Virginia Tech, coach Atuaia at Virginia, and coach Beatty at Maryland.
