PSU offers Ohio LB

Two offers have come in for linebacker Andrew Dailey out of Massillon (Ohio) Massillon Washington. One of the 6-foot-3, 210-pounder's scholarships is a major offer. What does Dailey think of the schools?
"I've been offered by Akron and Penn State so far and I'm getting a lot of interest from Notre Dame, Florida, Ohio State, Michigan and others," he said. "Akron offered me two months ago while Penn State gave me it a couple weeks ago when I went up for an unofficial visit.

"I enjoyed my visit a lot and came away even more interested. Penn State has a great campus and I like the coaches including Joe Paterno. My conversation with him was very good and he told me when I come back on an official we can have a bowl of spaghetti at his house since we both have Italian in our backgrounds. Coach Paterno is a great guy and I like that he stresses family. On the visit I also got to talk to my recruiter Jay Paterno who explained to me how I'd be used in their defense."
The Nittany Lions made a strong impression on Dailey who has them among his early leaders along with Ohio State and Notre Dame.
"I'd say all three schools are even for me," he said. "I like Ohio State because of their fans, the tradition, coach Tressel and how big the school is. As for Notre Dame, I just like how they are a catholic school because I am catholic. I also met coach Weis on an unofficial a little while back and he is a great guy."
The linebacker prospect is considering taking in one more unofficial visit this spring to Michigan. Dailey is also looking to attend a combine at Kentucky later this spring.
Last season Dailey registered 80 tackles, nine sacks, one interception and three blocked punts as he was named first team all-Ohio, first team all-district and first team Akron Beacon.
"I think I'm a very athletic player with nice speed and size," he said. "I played some wide receiver and plan to start for our team next year at that position. I really believe that makes me stand out over other players."
