Position: Running back
Size and speed: Bailey is 5-foot-7, 170 pounds. He has been timed in the 40-yard dash at as low as 4.32 seconds. He bench presses 240 pounds and squats 345 pounds.
Honors: All-region
Statistics: Bailey rushed for 1,500 yards on 110 carries, with 23 touchdowns during his junior season.
Favorite schools: Penn State, Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Michigan
Skinny: Bailey is practically untouchable on the football field with his great speed. One minor mistake by the defense and this young man will quickly be in the end zone for six points.
“I just don’t get touched on the field because of my speed and I have really good vision that a lot of running backs don’t have. I see things during a play before they even happen.”
Bailey knows what he is looking for in a school. He also has a favorite.
“Penn State is my favorite right now. My cousin, Jerry Smith, plays wide receiver for them so I am pretty familiar with them. The most important thing to me would have to be whatever school has the best situation for my family and me. I really don’t want to go too far. The coaches and the surroundings are important also. I will decide after my senior football season is over.”
Bailey plans to attend the Nike camp at Virginia Tech as well as camps at Penn State, Maryland, and Virginia.
Jay Paterno is recruiting Bailey for Penn State.
