PSU leads for QB

Quarterback Justin Siller out of Orchard Lake (Mich.) St. Mary's recently picked up another scholarship offer from Northwestern. The 6-foot-3, 178-pounder is definitely giving the Wildcats a look.
"I got the offer a couple weeks back and I like it," he said. "I liked them and was considering them before they offered and now I'll really check them out some more. I think they have a very good program that utilizes the quarterback well."

The Michigan quarterback continues to receive interest from other schools including Ohio State, Penn State, Georgia Tech, Iowa and Boston College. Does Siller have any favorites?
"I'd say Penn State is probably it," he said. "I'm very impressed with them after my visit there for a junior day. It was really nice and I like the facilities and coaches. Everything was nice up there. I got to check out a practice and it was really energetic.
"I also got to talk with the coaches including Joe Paterno. My thought on him was that he was a real down to earth and truthful guy. He doesn't sugarcoat anything and I like and respect that."
Even though he claims Penn State is his leader, they are only slightly ahead at this time.
"I'd say Penn State is the leader only because I have more schools to visit," he said. "I'm impressed with them, but I have to see what everyone else has to offer."
This spring Siller plans to participate in the Nike Camp at Ohio State and Elite 11 at Penn State.
Last season Siller accounted for 2,100 yards and 30 touchdowns. He went on to be named all-Catholic league, all-county and honorable mention all-state as a junior.
