PSU latest offer for Columbus TE

Tight end Jeff Cumberland of Columbus (Ohio) Brookhaven can't be getting bored because when he isn't dealing with working over the summer, he's got new offers to check out seemingly every day.
At 6-foot-4, 220 pounds, the four-star rated Rivals250 member has collected his latest two offers from Penn State and Akron but several other teams such as Oklahoma, USC, Miami, Florida, Michigan State, and Minnesota appear to be all racing to be the next.

"All of those schools that haven't offered said that I should be getting an offer soon and we also talked about setting up an official visit," Cumberland said. "If USC offered that would probably change things, but right now my top five is Miami, Minnesota, Ohio State, Penn State, and the (Florida) Gators."
Miami was the latest school to tell Cumberland that an offer could be coming down the pipe very soon. However, after checking out such schools as USC, Michigan State, Ohio State, Indiana, and Akron he admits that it will be a long process no matter which school gets involved.
"To me, it's about going through the whole process," Cumberland said. "I haven't set anything up yet that's set in stone. Right now, I just want to look at all these schools to see their graduation rate and just the background of the team."
As for visits that impressed, two teams have taken the top spot in that category.
"When I went down to Michigan State, I really liked the facilities there," he said. "When we were down there for the NIKE camp I took an unofficial visit to USC and liked that too."
