PSU impressive to Toal

Wyckoff (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep linebacker Brian Toal is getting more confused as he takes additional official visits. His lastest trip, to Penn State, put the Nittany Lions near the top of his list.
"It was a good visit, I liked it a lot," said the 6-foot-2, 228-pounder. "I really liked the players quite a bit and the atmosphere there is cool. Coach Paterno gave me a little bit of a push near the end to commit, but I'm taking my last visit and will decide after that."

Toal, who was hosted by linebacker Paul Posluszny, rated his trip to Happy Valley as high as his trips to Boston College and Tennessee.
"Right now those three are on top with Miami trailing a little bit," he said. "Penn State is only around 3 1/2 hours away and I could probably hit the two-deep at linebacker right away. It was a good visit overall."
Toal's parents are weighing in with their favorites.
"My mom liked Penn State about as much as she liked BC," he said. "My dad still favors BC I think. My last visit will be to either Virginia Tech, Notre Dame or Rutgers."
Rutgers is a new entry into the mix.
"I like the coaches," he said. "They are really good guys and Rutgers is close to home and I know some people there. I'm not saying their one of my favorites or anything, but I might take an official there or stick with Virginia Tech or Notre Dame."
