PSU hosts talented 2016 OL

Offensive lineman Clark Yarbrough has been on plenty of visits and he added to that total last weekend with a visit to Penn State. The trip seems to have made an impression on the star junior from Woodberry Forest (Va.) Woodberry Forest School.
"It was awesome," said the 6-foot-6, 268-pound Yarbrough. "I loved it. It was such a great atmosphere. I got a lot of face time with the coaches and that's cool because it's rare. On game day I actually got to sit down with coach Hand and coach Donovan and talk a lot. Right before the game I had a talk with coach Franklin. They just stressed how much they need offense of tackles and to recruit more athletic guys. Their big focus was how big a priority I am for them. Which is kind of cool."

While the outcome of the game wasn't what the Penn State faithful had in mind, Yarbrough saw some things on the field that were appealing.
"I like how physical the offensive linemen were I liked how everyone was getting hyped in pregame," he said, "Michigan's pregame stuff is pretty hype up there but I hadn't seen anything like this."
Yarbrough's plans going forward are pretty flexible.
"I don't really have anything else set right now," Yarbrough said. "I want to get back down to Duke and Vanderbilt. I'll probably get more into visits during the spring. I might go to some basketball games."
Schools like Clemson, Florida, Michigan, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and many others have offered Yarbrough and things are becoming clearer for him.
"I don't have a leader yet," he said. "I'm going to start narrowing things down and put together some sort of list. I'm still open and am trying to figure out what I want."
Yarbrough helped Woodberry Forest School to a 7-1 record this season.
