PSU childhood fav for sleeper LB

One of the top linebackers in the state of New York is taking a hard look at six programs. He's receiving a good amount of interest thus far, and should receive more once he sees more action in his senior year.
"My top six college choices right now would be Rutgers, Pittsburgh, Iowa, Clemson, Auburn and UConn," said linebacker Dennis Hayle. "They're all about even with each other. I'm hearing from schools like Penn State, Iowa and Rutgers now."

Hayle is a 5-foot-11, 220 pound linebacker from Hempstead (N.Y.) Uniondale.
"I grew up a big Penn State fan," said Hayle. "I watched them more than anyone else. My favorite player is LaVar Arrington, and I try to do a lot of the things he does well. I'm very aggressive on the field but I play under control and smart. I'm tough and play really hard all the time."
As a junior Hayle recorded 30 tackles, two sacks, six tackles for loss and recovered a fumble. He also broke up five passes, showing the ability to drop back into coverage and cover backs and tight ends.
"I'm looking for a school with the best combination of football and academics. If I find a place that has the perfect fit of the two for me, that's where I'll go. Our school is kind of small and I'm just glad my name is out to coaches already."
