IN HIS OWN WORDS…

“Everybody just felt so comfortable," Faison-Walden said. "We got to interact with all the coaches a lot and we were all comfortable with the facilities and everything. The way they are going to use me and how much I could excel after football helped me decided to commit.

“I’m close with coach (James) Franklin, coach (Brent) Pry, and coach (Terry) Smith," he said. "I’d probably say I’m closest with coach Smith. I feel I could get on the field pretty much as a true freshman. That’s really up to me and how hard I work.”

RIVALS’ REACTION

Faison-Walden will bring a physical presence to Penn State’s secondary. He has a knack for being around the football and seems to be in the right place at the right time. Look for Faison-Walden to make some big plays as a Nittany Lion.
