Prosise lands offer No. 1

Offer No. 1 has come in for Woodberry Forest (Va.) Woodberry Forest School safety CJ Prosise. The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder pulled the scholarship last week on National Signing Day.
"Virginia offered," he said. "I called them and talked to Coach London. They were just talking about how they wanted me to sign with them next year and then Coach Reid talked about playing safety, punt and kick return. Coach London talked to me about the rebuilding process they are going through."

Landing his first offer, Prosise was impressed.
"I'm excited, I was really excited that I got my first offer and that it came from Virginia," he said. "It takes a lot of pressure off. They are the first one and it makes you feel a lot better."
What does Prosise think of the Cavaliers?
"I love the school, it's a great school and I've been there a couple times, I really like it," he said. "I just love the academics of the school and the campus."
Virginia is one of three likely visits for the defensive back along with Maryland and perhaps Duke this spring.
Prosise earned all-state honors both ways along with all-prep and all-metro after registering 42 tackles and seven interceptions this season.
