Proche seeing major interest

James Proche was outstanding at the Under Armour Combine. He turned in another strong performance at the RCS Dallas last weekend.
But the Dallas (Texas) Prime Prep Academy three-star wide receiver still is not seeing the major offers come in even if numerous programs are getting more interested in him.

"Recruiting has been on a standstill really," Proche said after earning the wide receiver MVP award at the RCS Dallas.
Major programs especially in the SEC have reached out to Proche, a 5-foot-11, 185-pound speedster who has shown off great hands at numerous national events.
He's still waiting on those offers, though, and Proche said he plans to remain patient because he knows all of his hard work and success will eventually pay off.
"I've been talking to a few schools like LSU, Mississippi State, Alabama and really a lot of other schools," Proche said. "They've just been telling me to stay patient and good things will happen."
So far, the Prime Prep Academy standout has been offered by Colorado State, SMU, TCU and Tulsa.
Many teams have reached out and more offers could be on the way. Academics are not an issue since Proche said he holds a 3.7 grade-point average. For the time being, Proche plans to be patient and keep dominating on the field.
No favorites have emerged yet so Proche said he's going to not rush anything.
"My goal is to get to the NFL and wherever gives me the best opportunity to do that is where I'm going to go," Proche said.
