Prince talks FSU, others

Damian Prince is one of the most highly regarded players in the 2014 class. The Rivals250 offensive tackle has over 20 offers and has been in close contact with Florida State, Ohio State, Rutgers and Alabama. He was scheduled to go to the Maryland game when they played the Seminoles.
"I wasn't able to go to the game," said the 6-foot-7, 310-pound Prince. "I watched it on TV and it was a good game. It was kind of what I expected. They played a good game overall.

"I couldn't talk to the coaches afterward but I talked to Coach (Odell) Haggins on Friday," he said. "I told him good luck and that was pretty much it. Hopefully, I can talk to him pretty soon."
How do the other schools compare to Florida State right not?
"I'm still feeling good about Ohio State. I want to get back up there to see all the coaches again," said the four-star Prince. "I've already met Coach (Zach) Smith, Coach (Ed) Warinner and a few other coaches.
"I couldn't watch the Alabama game last weekend," he said. "Coach (Lance) Thompson and I talk on Facebook and he wants me to come down for their junior day."
How does Prince feel about Rutgers and their move to the Big Ten?
"I actually heard about that from the Rutgers coaches when I was up there for a visit," he explained. "I got to sit down with Coach (Kyle) Flood when I was up there. I think it will help Rutgers because the Big Ten is a better conference than the Big East. I might be able to get back up there in a few weeks, probably before their bowl game."
Prince is trying to determine when and where he will visit next.
