Prince is back from Washington

Encino (Calif.) Crespi quarterback Kevin Prince took his first official visit this past weekend to Washington. It was the signal callers third visit to Seattle and Prince had nothing but positives to say about the trip.
Prince, 6-2, 185 pounds is easily among the top quarterbacks in the West region. He tore his ACL in the first game of the year this season but it hasn't stopped his final two schools from still rrecruiting him as hard as ever.

"I'm down to Washington and UCLA and took my visit to Washington this past weekend," Prince said. "I really had a good time and enjoyed myself the whole time there.
"I took two unofficial visits in the summer but the main reason I came back for an official visit was I really wanted to see what the game atmosphere was like. The crowd was crazy and I was so impressed with how passionate and loyal the Husky fans are. That to me was the highlight of the visit.
"I got out there Saturday morning and met up with some of the coaches. The I had lunch and had a chance to meet the President of the University and the athletic director as well. After that, we headed over to the stadium for the game and like I said, it was a great game atmosphere.
"I was down on the field before the game and then we moved up in to the stands when it started. It really was a nice environment and a very good game. They hung in there with Oregon for three quarters but Oregon pulled away in the fourth.
"We run a similar offense at Crespi although we probably throw the ball a little more. Coach Lappano said he likes a mobile quarterback and that's why they're high on me.
"After the game, I met up with my host, Ronnie Fouch and we went out to dinner and he showed me around a little. Sunday, I had brunch with the coaches, talked to a lot of the academic people there and also met with the strength coach and trainer.
"I also met more of the guys on the team and spent some more time with Coach Lappano. Overall, it was a great visit and I really feel like I fit in well there at Washington.
"I'm down to UCLA and Washington but I don't know if I'll take an official visit to UCLA because I know the school so much. I mean, I practically grew up on it and know all the coaches and everything about it already. I may take a visit just for the fun of it but I don't think I need to before I make my decision.
"Right now, I really don't want to put a timeline on when I'll decide because every time I do that, I end up needing more time. Coach Willingham was even joking around about that because originally I was going to decide in the summer and now here we are, more than half way through the season.
"I'm just going to take my time and when I know where the best place for me is, that's when I'll decide. I'm likely going to take a Mormon mission after high school but both schools said they would still have an offer for me when I get back so that won't play a role."
