Prince is a talented NW signal caller

A quarterback who has boosted his stock quite a bit in our eyes the last month is Poulsbo (Wash.) North Kitsap's Jared Prince. Prince had a solid showing at the Nike Camp in Oregon and then looked even better at the EA SPORTS Elite 11 workout in Las Vegas two weeks ago.
Prince, 6-2, 190 pounds is one of the most athletic signal callers in the West region. At the Nike Camp, the quarterback clocked a 4.59 in the 40, 4.47 in the shuttle and jumped 28 inches in the vertical. He threw well in the position drills showing a nice live arm and good accuracy.

At the Elite workout in Vegas throwing alongside some of the nation's finest passers, Prince looked even better and worked out in the top group of quarterbacks for parts of both days. He has a very smooth delivery, quick release and quick feet in the pocket. He throws well setting up or on the run and should be considered one of the top overall prospects in the NW region.
As a junior, Prince threw for 1,991 yards and 21 touchdowns with five interceptions. He shows up well on film and is also solid academically carrying a 3.7 GPA.
On the recruiting front, Prince is still waiting for his first offer but would like to stay close to home to play his college ball.
"Washington is my top school followed by Oregon and Washington State," Prince said. "I'm a looking for a school with a good combination of academics and athletic as well as a place where I'll feel comfortable with the location. I like the NW and would like to stay on the West Coast if possible but I'm not closing any doors right now."
