Prince getting close to decision

Three-star quarterback Kevin Prince (6-2, 185, 4.7) from Encino (Calif.) Crespi saw his season come to an end two weeks ago in the first quarter of the first game of the season against a very tough Lake Balboa (Calif.) Birmingham team with ACL injury.
Prince had an excellent off-season and was very impressive at several passing league tournaments. He was poised for an outstanding senior season making his injury tougher still.

The good news for Prince, if there is any in a situation such as this is, both of his two favorite schools are honoring their original offers to him.
Washington will take Prince next season or after his LDS mission if he decides to take one. UCLA's offer has always been for the 2010 season after he would come from his mission and that still stands.
Prince is still making himself useful the Celts of Crespi as he has become the de facto quarterback coach for his replacement Brian Bennete.
"In the presence moment I am helping Brian be as good as he can be," Prince said. "He's going to be a good one. Right now we are just fine tuning his mechanics and helping him make the right reads.
Besides helping Bennete, Prince is getting ready for ACL surgery that he will be undertaking in the very near future.
"I had a ton of fluid drained out of my knee on Thursday," Prince said. "Now I'm going to rehab twice a week so that knee can have more mobility before I undergo surgery.
According to Prince his decision between his two favorites could come sooner than later.
"I could make my decision soon," Prince said. "I'm not exactly sure when, but it should come soon. The two schools that I'm interested in are still there so why the wait.
As a junior, Prince was an all-league selection after throwing for 1,422 yards and 12 touchdowns.
