Pressley checks out Florida State

Defensive tackle DeMario Pressley has been looking forward to his official visit to Florida State for a while. How did the visit go?
"DeMario is actually stuck at the airport," said his mother, Gail Pressley-Doura. "The Atlanta airport has shut down I think, so I believe the plan is for him to arrive back in North Carolina around 7:00pm. That's not concrete, because he called me and said, 'I'm not going to be home 'til tomorrow.' We're just going to play it by ear."

The 6-foot-4, 285-pound lineman from Greensboro (N.C.) Dudley is rated the top defensive tackle in the nation, and Florida State has been one of his favorite schools for months. What did he think of the visit?
"He told me he was having a very good time," his mother said. "We didn't talk for too long, but it sounded like everything went really well. He did not commit while he was down there."
In addition to the problems at the Atlanta airport, North Carolina is being hit hard by a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain, so it's not known when Pressley will arrive back home.
