Presley gearing up for NIKE Camp

One of the players we're really looking forward to seeing this coming Sunday at the SoCal NIKE Camp is Carson (Calif.) tight end Morrell Presley. There has been a lot of talk recently about Presley and where he plans on spending his Saturday.
Presley, 6-4, 205 pounds is one of the top tight end prospects in the country. He was the second player out of the class of '09 to commit to the Trojans announcing for USC last June. The athletic tight camped with the Trojans where he was offered and didn't take too long to jump on it.

Fast forward a year later and Presley is still very solid in the Trojans camp although he will take a look at another local school this weekend.
"Morrell and I are going down to UCLA to meet with Coach Neuheisal and Coach Chow this Saturday," Presley's father Steven Hawkins said. "We just want to take a look at what UCLA has to offer but Morrell is strongly committed to USC and you can quote me on that.
"We just want to hear what the new staff at UCLA has to offer. This is kind of a once in a lifetime thing for Morrell and he committed so early that I just want to make sure he looks at all his options. I know there are a lot of rumors going around about Morrell not being firm in his commitment but that's not true at all. I will be very surprised if he ends up anywhere other than USC.
"Morrell has really bonded with the other USC commits and he is already working out with Matt Barkley. We only plan to stay at UCLA for a little bit before heading over to the Trojan Huddle later in the day and don't plan to miss a second of that.
"We might take some unofficial visits because Morrell plans to graduate early from Carson so he can enroll in time for Spring ball at USC. He won't be taking any official visits so this is a chance to see some schools and just make sure USC is the best option for him but like I said, he's very happy with his commitment and I don't see him going anywhere else."
