Prep WR is closing in on a decision

Chatham (Va.) Hargrave Military Academy wide receiver Dayon Arrington made his way down to Greenville, N.C. over the weekend. The 6-foot-3, 200-pounder checked out East Carolina, in what may be his final official before a decision.
"I liked it down there, I liked it a lot. It was nice," he stated. "I first got down there and went out with the players and then had dinner.

"Later that night I hung out with my host, Alex Taylor. He was real cool. He talked about how the team is very family oriented and kept everything real. He didn't try to sell me on ECU. He just told me the truth and said the decision was up to me."
On Saturday, Arrington checked out the school some more.
"I had breakfast and then toured the academic stuff," he said. "I also toured the field and sat down with my position coach to look over film. That night we went to a banquet for their bowl win and then I hung out with Alex again."
What did Arrington think of the coaches?
"They were cool," he said. "Coach Holtz is really cool. He's a down-to-earth guy that told me the truth about everything. He wasn't trying to pressure me. He left the decision up to me. He did say though that the starting position is open for me if I come there."
The three-star prospect rated the visit a nine.
What is next for the prep school prospect?
"I have no other visits right now," he said. "Basically I'm trying to make my choice. It's coming up and it'll probably be before Signing Day. I've got to sit down with my parents and talk about it. I'm really down to two schools now, ECU and Virginia."
