Prep school likely for Florida RB
Auburndale (Fla.) all-purpose back Chub Small may be a name to keep an eye on well after signing day passes.
“It looks like he’s going to have to take the prep school route,” Auburndale coach Bob Williams said. “He’s got a decent core GPA and his test score, but he needs to take care of some other things before he can move on.

“We’ve talked to Georgia and Michigan and LSU, and they’ve all recommended that he look at places like Hargrave and Fork Union. I think he’ll do that or maybe look at a juco.”
Small (5-9, 190, 4.4) had offers from Kansas, South Florida and Cincinnati. He had been drawing interest from a host of major programs coming off a senior season which he rushed for almost 1,600 yards and 22 touchdowns.
