Prater set to visit three

Omaha (Neb.) Central tight end Nate Prater continues to have just three schools that he will visit officially.
“Everything is still the same,” the 6-foot-4, 250-pound Prater said. “K-State, Iowa State and Kansas for my official visits. Nothing has really changed on that front. They have offered me scholarships. I’m pretty well focused on those three schools.”

One thing could change things and add two more schools to the considered list.
“Michgian and Oklahoma are talking about offering. They haven’t done it yet. I will be sending out my senior film out soon. If they like what they see, I could see them offering me based on what they have said.”
Prater did take in the Iowa State vs. Nebraska game over the weekend.
“I went to the game in Ames yesterday,” he said. “The fans were pumped up loud and into the game all day. The atmosphere was great. It blew me away. It was a big game for both teams. I can’t believe how quickly Iowa State got ahead. It was a good game.”
Central did not make the playoffs this season.
“We were 4-5,” he said. “We are done for the season. I feel I did good. You always think you can do better, but I think I gave it all I had. I wish we had made the playoffs.”
