"I then met with Coach Tyrone Willingham and he said he wanted me to be a Husky," Kosub said. "I said yeah. I pretty much told him I've wanted to be a Husky since I was a kid."
Playing for Washington will be a homecoming for Kosub. He grew up in Washington and has lived there most of his life until high school.
The Huskies get a player with a high ceiling.
Kosub flew under the radar for much of the season but saw his recruitment take an upward turn because of his superb senior season that saw him accounting for 60 tackles, eight sacks, eight tackles for loss, four fumbles caused, fumble recoveries and one pick that he returned 47 yards as a senior.
Kosub's performance saw him earn Nevada State Defensive Player of Year.
Kosub brings a lot of versatility to the table. He projects on the D-I level as defensive tackle or run stopping defensive end if he ends up playing on the defensive side of the ball.
Washington is bring him in as a defensive tackle.
